Weight Management, From a Wholistic Perspective
A supportive, medically informed approach that considers both metabolic health and mental well-being.
What makes our approach different.
Weight management at Wholistic Perspective is not about quick fixes or rigid expectations. Our approach looks at the full picture—how physical health, medications, metabolism, and mental health intersect—so care is personalized, thoughtful, and sustainable.

May include education, maintenance, or treatment—not a requirement to lose weight
Medication Consideration
Careful evaluation of how medications interact with mood, anxiety, attention, and metabolism

who its for
Our weight management service is designed for adults who want a thoughtful, personalized approach. One that looks beyond the scale and considers your whole health picture, including mental well-being.
Important Considerations: This treatment is not recommended for individuals currently struggling with eating disorders or significant body image distress. We are intentional about not triggering or reinforcing harmful patterns and can help guide patients toward more appropriate supportive services, such as therapy, when needed.
Our Process
Our weight management program follows a thoughtful, evidence-informed structure designed to support metabolic health and long-term success. Each step is intentional — beginning with a comprehensive assessment, followed by personalized planning, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safety, effectiveness, and sustainable progress.

Initial Intake
Comprehensive Medical & Lifestyle Assessment
We begin with a thorough evaluation of your medical history, current health concerns, lifestyle patterns, and goals. This appointment allows us to understand the full picture — including metabolic factors, medications, stress, sleep, and nutrition — so we can create a safe and informed plan tailored to you.

Collaborative Planning
Personalized, Evidence-Based Strategy
Together, we develop a treatment plan that may include medication management, nutritional guidance, behavioral strategies, and supportive lifestyle changes. Our approach is realistic and sustainable — focused on long-term health rather than quick fixes.

Ongoing Support
Structured Follow-Up & Accountability
Weight management is a process, not a one-time decision. Through regular follow-up visits, we monitor progress, adjust treatment as needed, and provide continued guidance. Our goal is to support steady, sustainable results while prioritizing your overall well-being.
What to expect.

Thoughtful, Individualized Treatment
Medication may be part of care for some patients, but not all
Emphasis on sustainability and minimizing side effects
No use of stimulant medications for weight management
No compounded medications
Our treatment philosophy centers on safety, balance, and realistic expectations. Every patient receives care tailored to their unique circumstances.
The Mind-Body Connection
Weight management is often closely connected to mental health. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, and even certain addictive behaviors can influence appetite, metabolism, and overall well-being. In some cases, addressing these factors alongside physical health leads to meaningful improvement. Patients may choose to engage in weight management alone or alongside mental health services.
