Medication Management, From a Wholistic  Perspective

Personalized psychiatric medication support that considers the full picture — symptoms, lifestyle, history, and goals — with ongoing follow-up and thoughtful adjustments over time.

What makes our approach different.

Medication management is not one-size-fits-all. Our providers take a thoughtful, whole-person approach to prescribing — focused on safety, clarity, and long-term stability. We prioritize informed decision-making, realistic expectations, and collaborative care.

Logistics & Common Medication Management Questions

  • Do you accept insurance?

Yes. Wholistic Perspective accepts most major insurance plans. Our administrative team will verify your benefits before your first appointment and help you understand any copays or out-of-pocket costs. We aim to make therapy accessible and transparent from the start.

  • Is this offered virturaly or in person?

Most therapy sessions are offered virtually for flexibility and convenience. In-person availability may vary by provider and location. Virtual sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure privacy and comfort.

  • How often will I need follow-up visits?

Follow-up frequency depends on your individual needs and where you are in treatment. Most patients are seen every 2–4 weeks when starting or adjusting medication to monitor response and ensure safety. Once symptoms are stable, visits may shift to every 1–3 months. Your provider will collaborate with you to determine a schedule that feels supportive and appropriate.

  • Can you coordinate care with my therapist or primary care provider?

Yes. When appropriate and with your written consent, we can coordinate care with your therapist, primary care provider, or other specialists. Collaborative communication helps ensure your treatment plan is aligned, consistent, and supportive of your overall well-being.

  • Do you prescribe controlled medications?

Controlled medications may be prescribed when clinically appropriate and after a thorough evaluation. Our approach prioritizes safety, careful assessment, and responsible prescribing practices. Not all conditions require controlled medications, and we will discuss all available options to determine what best supports your goals and long-term health.
