Katie Staley, LPC-A

Trauma-Informed, Strength-Based Therapy for Children, Adolescents & Adults

Katie Staley is a trauma-informed, strength-based therapist who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating life’s challenges. She believes all clients already possess strengths and skills, and she views therapy as a collaborative space to build on those abilities while developing new insights, coping strategies, and understanding.

Katie’s clinical interests include trauma, anxiety disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and working with individuals who engage in non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI). She is also passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and providing inclusive, affirming care.

With a background as a school counselor since 2019, Katie brings extensive experience working with children and adolescents, along with a strong appreciation for adult therapy developed through her clinical training in adult education settings. Her approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, psychoeducation informed by neuroscience, and a belief in empowering clients through knowledge and self-awareness.

Katie hopes clients gain deeper insight into themselves, practical tools for healing, and confidence in navigating life’s challenges. She holds credentials as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified School Counselor (K–12), and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate.

Outside of therapy, Katie enjoys travel, gardening, art, music, and prioritizing mental health and overall wellness.
